The prestigious Dr Raj Cup – 20 over limited cricket tournament held in the aegis of the Karnataka Film Directors Association on 30 and 31 October and November 1, 2011 at Hubli – the practice session is going briskly in the morning to afternoon at Central College grounds.

When www.chitratara.com visited third day of practice session some of the directors of Kannada cinema, century star Shivarajakumar, Prem, Ajith, Vishwas, Dhruv, Dharma, Srikanth, Shankare Gowda, Ravishanker villain on screen and others were busy in the practice.

The teams leave on 29th October to Hubli. On 30th, 31st October and 1st of November – Kannada Rajyotsava day the matches will be placed.

On 1st of November the evening is a feat with cultural activities. The teams reach Bengaluru on2nd of November.

The teams are from the fraternity of Directors, Producers, Legislators, Cinematographers, Dancers, Editor, Stunt Directors and Media – V Ravichandran, Shivarajakumar, Upendra, Raghavendra Rajakumar, Sudeep, Puneeth Rajakumar, Vijay and Ramesh Aravind respectively head as captains for the eight teams.

This year’s Dr Raj Cup is organized by Directors Association in a large scale will be inaugurated by Sri Moorusavira Math Swamiji. The venue is Nehru Stadium Hubli.
